Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

Manning Environmental is seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products using visual instructions and common practices, working with small components and parts, and maintaining inventory records. You will demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, meeting or exceeding performance expectations while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience with soldering irons, lathes, and other machines is a plus. This part-time position offers flexible hours, a stress-free environment, and a laid-back atmosphere. Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products using visual instructions and common practices
  • Work with small components and parts, including riveting and cycle counting inventory
  • Pull parts from inventory for assigned work orders and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Demonstrate good hand-eye dexterity and coordination
  • Read and comprehend visual instructions, maintain quality standards, and meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Operate basic tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills
  • Perform visual inspections of completed assemblies
  • Lift up to 40 pounds

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Ability to work part-time, 20-30 hours per week, with flexible days and times
